Happy Tuesday!  Today I am continuing the theme of sharing a few things you may not know about me with #4 my love of shoes!  I started sharing a few new things about myself for all of my new followers on Instagram and Facebook.  And if you missed, #5 be sure to check out Things You May Not Know About Me #5!

#4: I Love Shoes!

For my friends and family, this is no surprise. I am obsessed with shoes. I love to find a new pair and probably would have a new pair for every day of the week if I could.  I have loved shoes even since I was a little girl. My mom tells the story of when I was probably 5 years old, and I got a new pair of shoes for my birthday.  I loved them so much that I refused to take them off, and ended up going to bed with my new shoes on.  I might also add, that I am pretty stubborn – even from an early age!

I am starting to think that my obsession with shoes is genetic! My grandmother has a thing for shoes and to this day is still very trendy with her shoes, even though she is in her eighties.  And I have now passed along all things shoes, to my daughter.  She loves to try on her shoes and wear them around the house – including her brother’s shoes.  Often times when we are shopping at Target, we walk by the shoes and she automatically starts taking her shoes off so she can try on new ones.  I might be in trouble with this little girl!

I still believe that shoes are the one accessory that should always be thought about and planned! I have been known to plan an entire outfit around my shoes.  I definitely pass along my obsession to my senior girls and help them to plan their shoes for their outfits!
