I believe that your senior portrait session is more than just pictures. I have the unique opportunity to walk along side my senior girls at a crucial point in their life. And I truly believe that the right senior portraits can be life changing. For my girls, I speak truth to them, truth that they don’t hear often – that they are beautiful, that they are worthy, that the are precious. The experience of feeling like a model in front of the camera, and watching my girls see their images for the first time, is priceless.
When my girls get to see how beautiful they are, they get to see what everyone else see’s in them. I have been told over and over again by my senior girls and their parents, how their experience has given them confidence they’ve never had. How they have never felt more beautiful and proud. How they actually believe they are beautiful after seeing their images. I believe that every senior should have the opportunity to have more than just pretty pictures. I believe that every senior deserves to see their own beauty & know their worth.
Hello! I am so excited to celebrate your senior year with you! I have a passion for making women feel beautiful and confident. My favorite part of working with senior girls, is the moment I first show them their image, and they gasp. And they usually say something along the lines of "Wow, I look really good!" And my heart leaps. Because most of the time they are suprised by their own beauty. That's what it's all about for me - building up one girl at a time.
I have had the opportunity to work with high school seniors for three years and I absolutely love it. I love owning my own business and getting to work with amazing girls. I am passionate about speaking truth and encouragement to the seniors I get to work with. I have been so honored to build up girls and help them with their self esteem. I love having the opportunity to be a postive voice in their world.
So what else makes me me? I love Jesus and we are very active in our church. I also teach math at Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hills (so I get all the pressures of senior year!). I love to play with makeup - while it's not a necessity, it definitely makes me feel more put together and ready to conquor the day.
When I'm not working with seniors, you can find me hanging with my family. I am married to the love of my life, Patrick, who is my best friend. Yes, we are one of those sappy couples that could spend every waking minute together. We have three kiddos who keep us very busy - Carter and our twins Kelsey and Keegan. We love to explore the outdoors with our puppy Sadie. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful, crazy, busy, full of life family.
Currently I'm all about coffee mugs with cute sayings, but you'll never find coffee in them! My only caffeine fix is chai tea. I have a thing for clocks - you'll find at least one in every room of our house. I love to read and to journal {when I can find the time}. I adore everything Potterybarn and Kate Spade. Country music is usually playing in our house and we often end the night with a family dance party in the living room. This year, one of my goals is to dream big, like outside the box, reach for the stars, crazy big dreams.
