Happy Fall!! It is officially family portrait season and the weather could not be more perfect!  It’s been cooler this October – have you noticed the leaves on the trees are already turning colors? This is my favorite time of year!!  The best time for family portraits is in October and the first week of November. The weather is great – not too cold yet, we mostly still have clear days so we won’t get rained out, and it gives us enough time to get all of your custom products and holiday cards in before the holidays.

I had the pleasure of photographing the amazing T family.  They are the the sweetest! Their kids were troopers and rocked their session – the sweet treats didn’t hurt. Mom wanted pictures up at Apple Hill, so we planned the perfect morning session.  Their kids are early risers, so the morning was a better time than the evening for their family.  And it was perfect! We were in the apple orchards, with full trees, apples everywhere, green grass, and everything fall.

Mom did a fantastic job with their outfits. I love the pop of color in their wardrobe – just enough to be interesting without being overwhelming.  Plus, we coordinated their outfits to match their home decor.  This is one of my favorite tips for families because when they ordered their Canvas Gallery Wraps, they look perfect displayed in their home.

They had a hard time deciding what to order! And to me, that means I did my job. I love that I can show my clients what their wall portraits will look like on their walls.  It takes it so much easier to select the perfect size wall portrait when you know what will fit your space. The T family selected this gorgeous wall gallery in Canvas. It’s stunning!!
