Well, the school year is coming to a close and I am realizing how behind I am on blogging. Blogging is one of the those things that just gets shoved off my plate. But I am committing to blogging once a week for the rest of the summer. I know, it’s a big goal while running around after my kids enjoying the summer sun. But I just have to! I have all these gorgeous sessions that need to be shared. Also, the end of the year is such a time for me to reflect and think about the year – and it’s been a big year this year. I have thinking about my sweet senior models and how much they have helped me this year, to encourage them, to be real with them, and to walk along side them this year. Truthfully, they have helped me so much, given me so much purpose and helped me to push through this difficult year.

Madi is one of my senior models this year, and oh my gosh her personality lights up the room. And I have loved all of our gatherings because I leave feeling so filled up! Her energy is contagious.  Madi is finishing up her senior year at Ponderosa High School.  She is off to go study out of state next year and I am going to miss her so much! For Madi’s session we actually got to shoot on a few different days because of the silly rain! But it turned out so wonderfully!  We spent some time downtown Folsom, by the famous white door and the fall colors were breathtaking.

Madi’s session truly shows off all the things she loves! We got to some images with her Jeep and I love them! Plus she brought her playbills from all the plays she has been in! She is quite the actress! And this girl, I couldn’t believe it, but she got in the water in Lake Natoma! Now this was in November and the temperature was in the 50s! Don’t be fooled by her strappy dress, this girl froze her butt off for these images and it was totally worth it.

Madi ended up ordering an album from all her sessions. So we got to include the images from her spring session, the snow session, her senior session plus her cap and gown session. I love how her album truly encompasses her entire senior year! And one of the huge perks of being a senior model is all the sessions throughout the year!

I am going to miss this girl so much!! I wish you all the best as you are off to new adventures!!
