Happy Spring!

I am absolutely loving this spring weather! The sunshine, the warmer temperatures, the longer evenings – I just love it!

The spring weather got me motivated to take the family out to a new location I scouted for Spring Mini Sessions.

Now you may be thinking that my family loves to do this like I do, that my family must be so used to doing this, that my family sits nicely

and always looks at the camera – well, I am here to tell you that you are very wrong!

My family is like any other family with young kids!

I love who all these photos came out, the light, our clothes, my kiddos deep blue eyes, all of it!

But don’t be fooled, we are just like any other family – Sweet K decided that she did not want to wear shoes when we got out of the car

and threw a complete melt down when I tried to put a bow in her hair.

My oldest was rewarded with a trip to the park after photos, so every 2 minutes, we heard “can I got the park yet?”

With all of that said, I don’t push my kids – when K didn’t want to wear shoes, she didn’t wear them.

When my littlest guy found a stick to play with, we took photos with the stick.

I just let my kids be themselves, and so we had a relaxing time playing in the fields.

And when they were done, we called it quits.

My family is just like any other family – I listen to what the kids need, I capture moments that moms and dads love,

and in the end we all have a great time!

I even managed to get a few shots of just me for my website – my hubby is very proud that he did so well!
